We can safely dispose of all of your hazardous waste, sharps disposal, offensive waste, pharmaceutical waste, feminine hygiene waste, dental waste and de-naturing kits for controlled drugs. We collect all offensive waste in 5kg medium weight and 10gk heavy duty orange clinical waste bags.
All pharmaceutical waste must be disposed of according to recommended guidelines. This waste can carry potential toxicities and can be a serious risk if it ends up in the wrong hands. All pharmaceutical waste is incinerated in an authorised incinerator. We have been disposing of pharmaceutical waste for many years. Alongside all of our disposal services, we will provide you with appropriate documentation for your records.
Sharps Disposal
If you produce any form of sharps waste (biomedical waste which has the potential to puncture or pierce skin) then it is a legal requirement to dispose of this waste in correspondence to the latest health and safety regulations.
WGS offer clients colour-coded sharps bins which promote the safe segregation and disposal of sharps waste. The colour of the bins reflect the type of sharp being disposed of, the premises and the necessary regulations. Should you fail to dispose of sharps waste correctly - it can lead to injury, the spread of infection and significant fines. Our team are more than happy to advise you of appropriate waste disposal channels should you require any guidance.
