Covering a range of waste requirements, our clinical waste disposal service includes all kinds of dental waste, hazardous and offensive waste (collected in 5kg medium weight & 10kg heavy duty orange clinical waste bags), sharps disposal, pharmaceutical waste, de-naturing kits for controlled drugs and feminine hygiene waste. Due to the potential toxicity of pharmaceutical waste and the potential risk of unused medication getting into the wrong hands it requires incineration. WGS always ensure this process is carried out correctly with the appropriate documentation provided.
Sharps Bin Disposal and Collection
We supply a range of colour coded sharps bins which correlate to the type of sharps used, the type of premises they are being removed from and the appropriate regulations they need to adhere to. Disposal and collection is carefully carried out in line with the current Hazardous Waste Regulations and our sharp box designs are equipped with wall brackets to ensure the top surfaces remain clear.
