Clinical Waste Disposal Management
Our clinical waste service covers the following: all kinds of dental waste, hazardous and offensive waste (collected in 5kg medium weight & 10kg heavy duty orange clinical waste bags), sharps disposal, pharmaceutical waste, de-naturing kits for controlled drugs and feminine hygiene waste. We arrange the incineration of pharmaceutical waste (in-line with current recommendations) on account of its potential toxicity and the risk of unused medication falling into the wrong hands. Following this process the correct documentation is provided for your records.
Sharps Bins
A vital aspect of our clinical waste service is the supply, collection and disposal of sharps bins. We supply colour coded sharps bins which correspond to the type of sharps used and the type of premises they are being removed from. Adhering to the current Hazardous Waste Regulations, we provide wall brackets for the boxes to keep them away from work surfaces - ensuring they are fully compliant with regulations.
