We cover a number of waste requirements, our service covers dental waste, hazardous waste, offensive waste (collected in 5kg medium weight & 10kg heavy duty orange clinical waste bags), sharps disposal, denaturing kits for controlled drugs, pharmaceutical waste and feminine hygiene waste. We are well aware that pharmaceutical waste is potentially toxic and the risk of unused medication getting into the wrong hands is a risk which we aren't willing to take - therefore all of the pharmaceutical waste is incinerated. We always ensure that this process is carried out adhering to current regulations and with all of the appropriate documentation provided.
Sharps Bin Collection and Disposal
You will be provided with an array of colour coded sharps bins which correspond to the types of sharps used, what type of premises they are being removed from and the recommended regulations to adhere to. All collection and disposal is carried out cautiously and to the guidelines of the current Hazardous Waste Regulations and our sharp boxes are all designed to have wall brackets so that your surface tops remain clear.
