We handle waste of all kinds - offensive, hazardous, sharps, feminine hygiene, pharmaceutical, dental and de-naturing kits for controlled drugs.
- Offensive Waste - Offensive waste is collected in supplied 5kg medium and 10kg heavy duty orange clinical waste bags.
- Pharmaceutical Waste - All pharmaceutical waste is disposed of according to the latest health and safety guidelines. All pharmaceutical waste has to be disposed of safely due to its potential level of toxicity as well as the risk it poses if it ends up in the wrong hands. It is all incinerated in our approved incinerator. We have been safely disposing of pharmaceutical waste for many years, and you will always be provided with appropriate documentation for your records.
- Sharps Waste - If your establishment produces any sharps waste (biomedical waste which can puncture skin), then you legally must dispose of this waste according to latest health and safety guidelines. All of our sharps clients are provided with colour coded bins so that the waste can be correctly segregated and disposed of. The different colour bins represent the type of sharp, the type of premises being disposed from and the corresponding regulations. If sharps are disposed of incorrectly, it may lead to injury, infection and fines. Our team can support you and answer any questions you may have if you are unsure of the different waste channels.
