Dental Waste Disposal in East Sussex

Dental Waste Disposal East Sussex

WGS Waste Management

WGS are a complete waste management company working with practices such as Orthodontics, Maxillo-Facial Clinics and Endodontic Clinics. We take care of all of your waste so there is no need for sub-contractors and you only have one monthly payment.

At WGS, we take great pride in being local leaders in the industry. We cover all of Kent, Sussex, Surrey and London. We understand how dental surgeries work and that they are very busy, active places. All waste needs to be safely segregated, stored and disposed of.

We always adhere to the latest government legislation and environmental standards. We have a duty of care to provide the safest service possible. We have years of experience which has given us the knowledge of what it takes to provide the best, personal service possible.

We customise our waste disposal service to suit your practice's needs. We can supply and dispose of clinical waste bags and sharps, confidential waste (patient records and office papers), amalgam waste and recyclable waste. All waste is isolated, stored and disposed of in separate receptacles with their correct containers.

Amalgam Disposal

Amalgam waste collecting is vital to our waste service. Half of dental amalgam is made from mercury, which can be dangerous to staff and patients in dental surgeries. Our range of amalgam disposal containers are UN approved which ensures all amalgam guards, capsules, tooth boxes and sludge is disposed of correctly.

We offer mercury suppressant liquid kits which prevent harmful exposure as they are a vapour suppressant solution which is entirely leak-proof and is compliant with UN standard classifications. We take pride in our eco-friendly process - all amalgam and hazardous waste is sent for recycling once collected.

Receptacles

To ensure your dental practice is remaining compliant with the government's storage and disposal safety regulations, we offer a range of waste receptacles including:

  • Yellow lidded sharps containers (wall brackets included)
  • Pharmaceutical waste (sedation drugs, out of date LA cartridges etc)
  • Orange clinical waste bags (5kg or 10kg)
  • Cytotoxic containers (for aesthetics practices)
  • 770 and 1100 litre lockable wheelie bins
  • Bridge and crown pots (precious metal containers for recovery and refund)
  • Lead foil developer and fixer (dentists without digital photography)
  • Post coded bag ties for safety and traceability
  • Mercury vapour suppressant liquid kits
  • Amalgam products

We offer a comprehensive waste service which can include all cardboard recycling, feminine hygiene products, confidential waste and more.

WGS offer reliable disposal methods to suit your needs. We always maintain quality control and regulatory procedures. For any further information on the disposal and management of healthcare waste - take a look at this government guidance.
